Sometimes you meet people who speak to you, a word, a sentence. It lingers in your consciousness. A word or a sentence that sprang from a source of creativity. You can ask yourself how something like that arises and where it comes from. It triggers your mind and creates the possibility of creating images. The source from which everything originates is inexhaustible. Words become images, or images become words. “Turbo Cats” is no exception. It’s not my word. It’s been given to me. We sometimes say that humans behave like animals. But in the case of “Turbo Cats”, it’s more likely that we can sometimes take a cue from nature, the animal kingdom. Haven’t we lost our connection with nature? Should we dominate it? Who are we, really? Within nature and within ourselves lies a source of wisdom.
I thank ‘No-Name’ for challenging me to embark on a journey under the banner of “Turbo Cats” which will be more focused on street art- the stencils. So more will follow. Its just a beginning.
